Meeting Called to Order by Seneschal

Seneschal:

-         Quarterly reports

-         Notice from Kingdom sent out about people with Blue cards Not having to sign waiver

-         Insula Magna event in May. Seagirt is requested to bring starches for feast 100 people estimated to attend. Baron James will organize a competition to donate Bread for this event

-         For all Officers if you are extending past 2 years term there is a new extension form to be filled out

-         Insula Magna event looking for Decorations, Money, Prizes and someone to organize Dance. Request Seagirt donate $200 for event

-         Ithra Insula Magna donation of $100

-         Motion by Lenora to donate to principality fund

-         Motion by Baroness to give 10% ($250) of years profits to principality/Passed Check to be given at Coronet

Daffodil:

-         Email on the Rocks being sent out once per week until event looking for Volunteers and Rapier Marshall’s

-         Website for Daffodil linked on Seagirt webpage

-         Feastocrat requested advance of $800 for supplies and also requested $100 to upgrade cooking equipment/ Passed

Coronet:

-         Moving Smoothly

-         All Cabins already booked

-         Liaising with Majesties and Highnesses on Ceremony Schedules

-         Looking for donations for gift baskets. Contact Autocrat

Exchequer:

-         Monthly Report

-         Received Insula Magna donation

-         Cash advance for Daffodil

Master of Blades:

-         Two practices per week on Sat/Sun

Chronicler:

-         NTR

Herald:

-         Lord Mathieus Device Passed

-         Seagirt hosting LionsBlood (Lions and Heralds Meeting)

-         Submission fees decreasing to $10 effective 1 Mar 08

-         Projects for ’08, resubmitting Otter Award, Posthumous Badge and the Scholars of Seagirt device

Arts and Sciences:

-         Continuing as per normal, regular Attendance

-         NTR

 

Castellan:

-         1 confirmed Demo in Sooke on 19 Feb run by Allessandra. Looking for Volunteers

-         Potential Demo on 18 Feb in Cobble Hill

-         Demo in Mar for Royal Oak school

Dance:

-         Happening every Tuesday 7 – 9 except first Tues of each month. NTR

Baron/Baroness:

-         Stepping Down by Coronet

-         Submission deadline for position by 23^rd Feb

-         Polling to be done at Daffodil. MUST be an SCA member

-         Daffodil to be last court. Will include granting of Awards and releasing of Fealties

Master of Stables:

-         Practice on Wed and Sat growing

-         Lord Wulfgar stepping down as MOS.

-         Seth voted in as new MOS

-         Deputy position offered to Paul

-    Average attendance approximately 6 on Wednesday/Saturdays
