Jaques has been accepted as the new Castellan.
Letter from Maria, Senechal of Hartwood, read aloud. Request for border change. Approved, so long as they accept Duncan, too. Letter will be drafted to this effect.
Annika has been accepted as Elina's (senechal) deputy.

Stores:
Whomever checks out stores is responsible for making sure it is returned.
Also, Reann is looking for the defenders banners.
Current stores stocks has been given to the seneshal on CD.

Master of Stables
Sunday practices have been slow.

Master of Blades
Rapier attendance is on the ride, with 8 fighters at last practice. Possibly re-opening a mid-week practice. Will give details as they arrive.

Herald

A&S
A&S has changed locations. We are hoping to resume classes on the third week of September. Possible upcoming classes include chainmaile and needlemaking.

Castellan
Jaques has been accepted as the new Castellan.
Two upcoming demos, one for Luxton Fall Fair September 15. We have enough people for Saturday only. 10 am until TBA.
Also upcoming is the hanging of the greens in the first Sunday (the 2nd) of December.

Dance
Pass the hat total: $131.00
Dance is going well, with an average of 20 people in attendance. Expecting 7 newcomers next week.

Baron & Baroness
Approaching another end of season. We are now heading into winter. Our largest concern is the lack of award reccomendations. Planning a series of award-related classes. Twelfth Night is coming up in Lionsgate. Please send in reccommendations for kingdom. We would like to avoid the winter duldrums.

Books for twelfth night have been started. Sewing can begin as we now have the names of our future king and queen.

Other Business
SST: Total profit of 287.00.

Yule: Luxton Fairgrounds is good for Yule. Will hold up to 200 people. Site may have a no-flame (not even enclosed) policy. A feast and tournament are also planned. Event is planned from 9 am until midnight. Site fee for the hall is $312, $212 payable ASAP. Also, this will be James's 50'th birthday.

Seagirt has been awarded April Cornonet for next year. Morgaine is autocratting.

Request to find a site and put in a bid for November Investiture and possibly September Crown with Cragmenere. Approved by council to proceed.

Next council will be held the Sunday before regular council time (Sep 30) at Ming & Elina's house at 3:30 pm.
