Reann asked if we should increase the GIC term deposit by $500. After some discussion, Glynis moved and Antonia seconded that we should increase the GIC term deposit by $500. Master of Stables
Practices are back to the drill shed on Thursdays and Sundays. The attendance has been a little light lately. The Pas D’Armes is coming up on October 21.

Master of Blades
We have held some extra practice for our new fencers and did an impromptu rapier demo at St. Giles.
My time is almost up, but there are no new officer candidates, so I will continue until someone else wants the job.
Cassius has received a partial suit of armour that he will be giving to Iron Key.

Herald
I am learning my new position and I will be asking lots of questions. The populace badge has passed. It is: Azure, 2 pallets argent.
We had a successful scroll night with 11 people attending. I will be looking for heralds to assist at the Pas.
I am going to contact the Texas group about the "permission to conflict", following up on the contact that Meg had made.

A&S
Arts and Sciences nights have pick up amazingly. The Research class had 9 people attending and Scrolls Design had 11. Trapunto is next followed by Games.
We will be starting on the cloak for Daffodil. Alinora Wynteryngham is my new deputy.
Chatelaine
There has been a trickle of newcomers coming to fighting practices. I would like to see lots of people come to the Demo on October 14th at the Senior’s centre.
Dance
Dance has been happening as usual. Come out, have fun. We raised $96.96 at our pass the hat last month.

Baron & Baroness
We have had a good summer season. We want to maintain our vigilance to make sure we continue to have lots of activities.
We have decided to ask to continue as Baron and Baroness for the next 3 years. There will be a reaffirmation vote at Yule Revel. You will need to be a member in order to vote, however any citizen may express their feelings by writing the King and Queen directly.
Monday Social nights are starting up again. Her Excellency announced that there were plans in the works to hold a year long Ithra, giving one Basic Course a month.
We are planning a War Wagon to Estrella, the cost will come out to about $500 per person and includes 3 nights in Vegas.
We would like to have stores moved out of our house.
Other Business
Tavern Night:
Tavern night had 60 attend and made a profit of $108. It was lots of fun.
New Business:
Matt, our ex-chronicler still has all the Chronicler’s boxes in his apartment. James will pick it up.
The Baroness will be sponsoring a scholar’s project contest at Yule Revel.
Seth wants to hold a revel on October 21, after the Pas d’Armes that is being sponsored by St. Giles. It would be held at St. Luke’s from 6 - 11:30 pm. Seth said he would handle the expenses. It was pointed out that in order for insurance to apply, the expenses and sponsoring of the event had to be handled through the Barony.
