Tickets will be on sale for Spring Hope event soon; announcement will be made on the Rocks. Event is limited to 25 people. Event is wet; BYOB. Will be dinner theatre – shadow puppets telling the story of Glynis. Crickstow will be having a meeting soon to get info for Doomsday book.

Baron & Baroness:

Congratulations to Mistress Lenora, the newest Pelican. Lenora’s vigil at XIIth Night was a great party. Great to see so many Seagirtians braved the weather to get to XIIth Night, and to be at the revel when Theocharista was offered vigil for Pelican. We are at the end of our first year; it’s been interesting to say the least. We are about to start a plan to bring Seagirt out of its winter slumber – work on A&S elements, war and event planning. Need support from officers; some officers aren’t doing their job, and it’s being noticed at Principality and Kingdom level. Will be holding a duma in the next couple of months before Daffodil. Kingdom is looking for a bid for Kingdom Bardic, last week in September. Kingdom has received no bid as of XIIth Night.

Discussion ensued; possibility of putting in bids for Kingdom Heraldic Symposium and Crown Council also discussed. Coquille Pursuivant mentioned from Heralds meeting at XIIth Night that a bid for KHS is desperately needed.

A majority of the council supported investigating a venue and date for KHS. A majority of the council supported the council putting in a bid for Kingdom Bardic.

Yule Revel Report:

Event considered a success. Probably can’t use St. Dunstan’s again due to size and other bookings taking place there; hall was not clean; correct keys were not provided; we were booked in for 2:30 pm, but there was another conflicting booking running until 4:00 pm. Dessert turnout was excellent. Bar was not hugely successful; bartender wounding up buying back most of the stock or selling as off-sales. Overall, event showed profit of $194.60

Pre-Daffodil Report:

Ticket sales are low so far. Brenethwyn needs at least 24 confirmed adult servers; if anyone wants to volunteer, please contact her. Note that this is a great way to attend a feast if you’re cash-short. Kitchen autocrat needs a post-feast kitchen clean-up crew. A list of other required sub-crats will be posted to the Rocks shortly. James is running the Daffodil website, so if you have stuff that needs to happen, contact him.
