Yet another month has past by and we begin to enter the busy camping season. Unsettled and unseasonal conditions so far have not hampered the Seagirtian spirit. A great showing of Seagirtians was seen at May Crown where Duke Thorin won the crown for his lady Daegmar. We hope to have a good number of Seagirtians attending the coronation in Portland this July. We truly appreciated the Seagirtians who accompanied us up to Cragmere last weekend where a good time was enjoyed as almost always is when we visit there. If you have yet to partake of the hospitality of the up-island branches I would encourage you to do so. This includes visiting our friends over in False Isle. This coming weekend sees us up against our annual foes from Lions Gate as Sealion war happens in Aldergrove. From speaking to people we do understand that a considerably number cannot make the journey for a variety of reasons. We fully understand that life and other commitments gets in the way and that a lot of you would be there if you could. For those that ARE going we hope to have a good number of locals and mercenaries on our side. Our main focus, however, is not winning the war but ensuring that everyone there has a good time. At the Baronial encampment our plan is have some liquid refreshment at 7 pm Saturday for those who have supported our cause. Our friends and foes from LG can join us after 8 pm when the beer is almost gone. We look forward to this tourney season and especially to Sergeants in July where we hope you will come out to help the candidates, both sergeantry and scholars, and support them through their trials.
